Look what’s happening in the Media Center!

Students in all grades that read or are read to for 600 minutes (10 hours) can earn a free coupon for a ticket to Six Flags. To earn a free ticket, students must return a completed tally sheet to their teachers by March 1st. Coupons will be distributed to students on the last day of school.

The Media Center sponsors a monthly reading promotion where students are encouraged to read and when they turn in their forms, they can earn prizes! Promotions vary each month so look for more information to come home soon.

Gwinnett County Public Schools has purchased access to research databases including Encyclopedia Britannica, World Book, World Almanac, Gale’s Student Resource Center, and SIRS Discoverer for home use. Passwords are required for some of these databases. Please see the media specialist or local school technology coordinator for current passwords.
