This Month’s News!
I can’t believe it is near
the end of the school year already! It has been a great year
teaching Kindergarten! I can’t believe there are only a few more
weeks. Where did the year go? It went by so fast, too fast! It’s
hard to say good-bye to such a great group of children - and
parents! I’ll miss you so much, but I will be looking forward to
many visits from my Norcross Kindergarten class 2009-2010.
Thank you for sharing your children with us this past year. We have
truly enjoyed watching each and every one of them learn and grow.
They have been delightful!
Have a terrific summer!

Curriculum News
In May, we will be exploring
more science concepts and discovering more math concepts. In
addition to their reading series, the children will be engaged in
more challenging writing experiences as well as practicing their
Young Author books that they have to illustrate and read.
The children are enjoying the
science experiments we do every bi-weekly. They are interested in
why things happen and they often ask "what if" questions
that lead to further exploration. It is fun to discover the answers
together.
In math, because we have completed our
workbooks and mastered single digit addition and subtraction we will
continue working with money and using clocks to tell time after and
to the hour. We will begin measurement next week.
